The starter house is located in Madison's former home, which she has renovated and dedicated to this cause. It is intended to be a safe and supportive environment where residents can rebuild their lives, pursue their goals, and access resources for personal and professional development.
The initiative has received widespread attention and support and is seen as a significant step towards addressing the specific challenges faced by Black trans women in the United States.
