The multi-talented American comedian, actress, writer, producer, and social activist Amanda Seales feels overlooked and underappreciated by her peers in the industry. She recently took to her Instagram to express her gratitude to her loyal supporters, acknowledging that without them, she might question the value of her work. Seales points out that she hasn't been invited to attend the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards or the NAACP Image Awards, even though she's been nominated for the latter. Additionally, while she hosted the BET Awards from home in 2020 due to the pandemic, she hasn't received an invitation since.
