Diddy Investigation Reopens Questions About Jennifer Lopez And 1999 Nightclub Shooting

In December 1999, Sean "Diddy" Combs, his then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez, and rapper Jamal "Shyne" Barrow were at a New York City nightclub when a shooting occurred, injuring three people. Combs, Lopez, and Combs' bodyguard were arrested on suspicion of criminal possession of a weapon. Lopez was questioned by police and released within hours, with charges against her subsequently dropped.

Barrow was found guilty of five charges, including criminal possession of a weapon, first-degree assault, and reckless endangerment. He was acquitted of attempted murder but sentenced to nearly nine years in prison. No one was ever charged or found guilty for the shooting itself.

Following recent FBI raids on Combs' homes in Los Angeles and Miami, one of the shooting victims has spoken out, alleging that Combs shot her in the face and that Lopez carried the gun into the club.
